What is the investment?I currently only offer individual therapy. The fee is $175 for the initial session and $150 per a session for individual therapy. I do not accept insurance. In my practice, therapy is dictated by the client and the clinician, not by the insurance company. That means we get to bypass health insurance restrictions and practice individualized services that meet your specific needs. Adjusted rates are also available for undergraduate and graduate students. I accept credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), FSA (Flex Savings Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) accounts . Payment is due at the time of each session and your card will be kept on file for easy payment acceptance.

Are the sessions virtual? My practice is fully online and all sessions are provided via telehealth. I use a HIPAA-compliant video counseling platform that only requires you to have a cell phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and high-speed internet. It’s that simple! Psychologists are only permitted by their state board to do therapy in the state they are licensed in, as long as you live in the state of Texas, or a Psypact State we can have a telehealth session together! I offer weeknight and Saturday appointments to accommodate all schedules.

Do you take insurance? If your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, you can see any licensed therapist you'd like. Your insurance plan will reimburse you a percentage (around 60-90%), after you meet your deductible. I can give you a form called a superbill to submit to your health insurance company. You can call your insurance company and submit the superbill yourself. Please contact your insurance company to verify your benefits before scheduling.

2022 Federal No Surprises ActYou have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
